photo adventure

October 20–24, 2025 | 5 Days Across Oregon’s Most Stunning Autumn Landscapes

This photo tour was created especially for pet photographers.

We’ll travel across Oregon during peak fall color season to photograph dogs (and maybe a few other surprise animal guests) in wild, cinematic locations — from windswept beaches and dramatic cliffs to golden forests, misty waterfalls, and mountain reflections.

Each day brings new scenery, new light, and a new creative opportunity.

Each evening, we’ll photograph during golden hour with carefully selected dog models in beautiful, natural settings.

Why This Tour is Different

  • This is the first and only photo tour in the U.S. created exclusively for pet photographers.
Built by a pet photographer, for pet photographers — every stop, every session, and every detail is crafted to help you create beautiful animal portraits in epic nature backdrops.

  • A dream portfolio in 5 days.
Variety is everything: moody forests, crashing waves, colorful leaves, alpine lakes. You’ll walk away with a portfolio that looks like 5 different dream shoots.

  • Daily golden hour shoots with real dogs.
We’ll bring beautiful, well-trained dogs to each sunset location.

  • A creative recharge.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Might Be Wondering Before You Join

Do I need to be a professional pet photographer to join?

Not at all! This tour is open to photographers of all levels. Whether you’re full-time, part-time, or simply passionate about pet photography — if you love animals and nature, you’ll fit right in.

Will we be photographing only dogs?

The primary focus will be on dogs, but we may include other animals if the opportunity arises (we like surprises!).

How many participants will be in the group?

We keep it intimate — no more than 10 participants. This ensures everyone gets personal attention, space to shoot, and a relaxed, collaborative vibe.

What should I bring?

You’ll get a full packing list in your welcome guide, but in short: your camera gear including lenses, comfortable weather-appropriate clothing, and a good pair of walking shoes.

What if I get sick or can’t attend the workshop, do I get a refund?

Yes! If you cancel at least 30 days before the photo tour start date, you’ll receive a 100% refund minus credit card fees. If you cancel within 30 days, your payment will be converted into a full credit that you can apply to a future workshop or any course in our school.

Is transportation included?

Yes! We’ll provide ground transportation from a central meeting point in Portland to the workshop location and back. Once you arrive, we’ll take care of the rest.

Are meals included?

No, meals aren’t included — but we’ll stop at great local spots each day. You’re free to choose what you like, and most hotels offer breakfast.

What if it rains?

Some of the most magical photos happen in fog, drizzle, or moody light. We embrace the Oregon weather and adapt accordingly. Just bring rain protection for yourself and your gear.
